On the Road with Architects – Why We Join the Conversation
Sometimes the best conversations about architecture don’t happen around a meeting table, but on a bike, in a different city, or during a walk through a landscape shaped by bold ideas.
At Hørning, we’ve had the pleasure of joining architects on a number of professional network trips, from Copenhagen to Malmö, Berlin, and even Jordan. These journeys are more than just a change of scenery. They offer a chance to explore architecture up close, share perspectives across disciplines, and engage in the big conversations shaping the future of the built environment.
What unites every trip is a shared curiosity. Whether it’s during a Tech2Tech tour or a casual moment between presentations, the focus is always on materials, space, and sustainable solutions. The question we return to time and again: how can we, together, build more responsibly?
Our Sales Manager, Jacob Schnedler, regularly participates in these events, contributing his deep knowledge of materials and craftsmanship, and returning with new insights from the field.
These trips are not about selling products. They’re about inspiration, dialogue, and collaboration. And for us, they’re a reminder that sustainable progress is a team effort - built on trust, shared values, and open conversation.
We’re grateful to be part of these moments, and always open to where the next one might lead.
