Oak (Quercus SP)
Oak is a very common type of wood in the northern hemisphere. Trees can reach 30 metres in height with diameters of up to 100 centimetres. Oak has been used for centuries, among other things for building houses and ships because of the hardness, strength and elasticity of the wood.
