Planks - Pitch Pine (Pinus Palustris)
This type of wood comes is one of several types of pine, and is know as Picth Pine. It comes from an area near the Mexican Golf on to Florida and further on to Virginia. The trees can reach 40 metres in height with diameters of up to 100 centimetres, and the wood is bright with many stribes.
