About Hørning

Hørning manufactures a broad range of solid parquet and plank floors. Other than floors, we also manufacture strips, steps and accessories.

Important years in the company's history:

1929 - The company was founded by J.M. Jensen.
1941 - Architect Arne Jakobsen designs a parquet pattern which is laid at the Aarhus City Hall. This floor is
still used. 1963 - The first Hørning floors are laid at the Copenhagen Airport.
1995 - The original factory situated in the town of Hørning burns to the ground. Production is moved to
Resenbro near Silkeborg. 2005 - The first prefinished planks are delivered.
2007 - Hørning is now part of an interesting generation change with CUBIS INVEST.
