Hejmdal – building with 80 years of experience . . .
In 1929 the world famous american architect Frank Gehry was born in Toronto, Canada.
At the same time in Denmark, Mr. J.M. Jensen started Hørning Parquet Factory A/S and began to produce solid wood flooring. This year - exactly 80 years later - they meet and as a result a stricking building has been build in Aarhus.
Frank Gehry has designed the Cancer Caring Center in Aarhus, where Hørning has delivered solid wood planks in red oak. The building, which is called Hejmdal, opened the 21 of september and will be open to public visitors sunday the 6. december at 10.00 am until 16.00 pm.
Inter Airport Europe show in Munich, Germany
From the 6. october to the 9. october 2009 Hørning Parquet Factory A/S is participating in the 17th Inter Airport Show exhibition, together with among others Falck. Hørning can be located on the Danish Airport Group area nr. 920 (Hall B5).

New book from schmidt/hammer/lassen architects
